Personal coaching, group classes, and corporate training for professionals and companies who want to express themselves clearly, naturally, and effectively — fully online, worldwide.
About Me
Hi, I'm Dasha — a native English speaker with over eight years of experience helping non-native speakers find their voice in English — whether that's at the office, on a Zoom call, in writing, or simply in day-to-day life.
I studied at the London School of Economics and later at UCL's Centre for Translation Studies, before spending years working in corporate communications in London — supporting international teams, developing training materials, and navigating the real demands of professional English day to day.
I work with individuals and companies across a range of industries. Every student I work with has a unique background, learning style, and set of goals — and I tailor every session to reflect that with genuine conversation and carefully crafted guidance.
My practice has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, which I think says everything about the relationships and results I build with my students. I'd love to welcome you into that community!
What I Offer
Private sessions built entirely around your goals — whether you're preparing for a job interview, improving fluency due to relocation, or mastering professional communication in a new cultural setting. All sessions are online, fully flexible, and tailored to you.
Small group sessions that balance structured learning with natural conversation. Great for colleagues, teams, or students at a similar level who want to learn together. Engaging, affordable, and effective.
Language is only half the picture. These sessions explore the unwritten rules of English-speaking professional culture — tone, directness, humour, and norms — so you can communicate with real confidence in any context.
Tailored communication workshops and series of classes for teams — from IT professionals looking to sharpen their English in a professional context, to groups working on collaboration, presentation skills, and cross-cultural communication. Sessions are designed to be engaging, practical, and genuinely enjoyable — because the best learning happens when people feel at ease.
Professional translation that captures not just the words, but the tone, intent, and cultural nuance of your original. I work with business documents, pitches, scripts, press releases, and marketing materials — and I also partner with gaming companies to localise and fine-tune their scripts and narratives for English-speaking audiences.
Polish your English before it reaches your audience. From emails and reports to presentations, apps, and websites — I check for clarity, grammar, tone, and style, so your writing makes exactly the impression you want.
How It Works
Every new student starts with a free conversation — no pressure, just a chance to understand where you are, where you want to be, and whether we're a good fit.
Based on our conversation, I put together a tailored plan — the focus areas, session frequency, materials, and format that will work best for your goals and schedule.
We meet regularly and work on real-world scenarios relevant to your life. Progress is tracked, the plan adapts as you grow, and you leave every session with something concrete to apply.
Kind Words
Dasha doesn't simply proofread — she helps you craft messages that feel human and trustworthy. Working with her, our copy became warmer and more natural in ways that are hard to even put into words if you're not a native speaker. She has a rare feel for the phrases that only come from truly living a language — and she's a brilliant storyteller herself, which lifts everything she touches.
Dasha has been an integral part of our internal education project for several years, delivering over 50 thematic sessions covering technology, soft skills, cultural topics, and more. I highly recommend her for her unique ability to engage even the most introverted IT professionals — she creates a supportive, stress-free environment where people genuinely open up and grow.
It has been five years and Dasha is the only teacher I work with. We started when I was already at an advanced level but still struggling to express my thoughts beyond simple everyday conversations. She could immediately spot where I was translating directly from my native language, and we worked on changing those patterns. At some point, I stopped feeling like I was translating and started thinking freely in English. What I value most is how Dasha leads a conversation — you feel seen and heard, but she pushes you further. That's rare, and it comes from real attention and care. And she is really, really fun.
After classes with Dasha, I leave with more energy than I started with. She teaches far more than English — she teaches communication itself, and a way of seeing the world that comes from being genuinely bilingual and bicultural. That perspective doesn't just help you understand the language better. Somehow, it helps you understand yourself better too.
